Youth Character Drawing
Character Drawing teaches youth how to draw anime, superheroes and more. Participants enjoy a paper and pencil lesson first and then have the option of transferring their skills to a tablet/ipad. We recommend the free apps iArtbook and Sketchbook. Sketchpads are provided for each participant and a frame for their final creation.
Youth Anime Drawing
Participants will enjoy recreating their favorite characters from Naruto and friends. Once they have learned drawing techniques for face and figure, they will create their own original manga character. Their final drawing will be completed on quality paper and framed. All materials provided.
Youth Singing Lessons
Participants will learn how to increase their range and style while singing popular songs. Our coaching will ensure their breathing and posture enhances their vocal capabilities. Enjoy the thrill of singing as a small choir! Parents can watch their performances the last week.
Youth Anime Digital Art
Participants will enjoy recreating their favorite characters from Naruto and friends. Once they have learned drawing techniques for face and figure, they will create their own original manga character and transfer it to iArtbook app. All drawing materials are provided. Participants in the Youth Anime Digital Art class will need to bring their own tablets and stylus to create their anime character on the amazing free app called “iArtbook”. Participants must bring a tablet/ipad for this class.
Participants will learn how to draw realistically using hatching, stippling, cross-hatching and circling techniques. Still-life art will be the main subject area with focus on light sources and shading. A sketchpad is provided for each participant.
Explore live theatre in this fun drama class. Participants will engage in acting exercises, improv scenes that teach “acting is reacting”, and rehearse a script for 6 weeks. Costumes and props provided! Their performance is filmed the last week and shared with families. Increased social and presentation confidence guaranteed.
Aspiring artists will learn painting techniques in acrylic and watercolour. This is a great opportunity for youth who want to explore their love of painting and build their confidence in the arts.
