Teen singers will sharpen their group and solo singing skills in a fun and supportive workshop-style class. Singers will have the opportunity to work on solo performances through popular song choices. This is the perfect class for teens who want to prepare for musical auditions, talent shows, family campfires, or simply sing more impressively in the shower. Family members are invited to listen to their performance the last day of class.
Advanced Teen Improv
For Advanced Teen Improv, participants must have previous Improv training before qualifying for this advanced class. Explore character work and story through short and long-form improv styles. This class goes beyond the “yes, and” foundations of improv, so prepare for a wild ride!
Aspiring artists will learn painting techniques in acrylic and watercolour. This is a great opportunity for teens who want to explore their love of painting and build their confidence in the arts.
Acting class gives aspiring actors the chance to perform drama and comedy scenes. We experiment with Stanislavski’s acting method of “experiencing” the emotion rather than “representing” it. Participants rehearse a small cast play and learn stage movements and characterization skills.

Participants will learn how to draw portraits in this high-level drawing class. Using their choice of portrait photo we provide, they will re-create a portrait using the grid technique. Stippling, cross-hatching and circling techniques will make their portrait look realistic. A sketchpad is provided for each participant.
